Ocean Creek Golf Club

When the Ocean Creek Golf Club opened its doors, it was rated 4.5-stars and named one of the 10 Best New Courses in America by Golf Digest. We believe it still is the best of the best to this day!

  • Opened in 1995
  • Designed by PGA Champion Davis Love III and Paul Cowley

There is a hint of a jungle feel with the lush vegetation greeting you along the way and four distinct rolling dune ridges to give the course that extra challenge.

The 6th and 7th holes of Ocean Creek are situated on the “Old House Creek” and marsh.

Jacques Cousteau once called it, “one of the most pristine salt-water marsh habitats in the world.”

The course is comprised of marsh and interior wetlands, with a solid network of bridges and walkways to guide you throughout the day.

Ocean Creek isn’t just a hot spot for golfing either; there is a variety of Fripp Island wildlife to take in. From egrets and osprey to alligators and herons, your experience golfing with us is sure to be one to remember.

The scenery at this Fripp Island golf course did not go unnoticed; movie producers flocked, and as a result, you can see true Ocean Creek greenery and wildlife in both Forrest Gump and the live action version of Disney‘s The Jungle Book.

All skill levels are welcome at “The Creek,” with five sets of tees to choose from including the Wee-Links tees.

When you golf at Ocean Creek, you’re greeted by gracious fairways and greens for miles offering you a delightful challenge!

Ocean Point Golf Links

Ocean Point Golf Course Fripp IslandAs the original home of golf for Fripp Island, Ocean Point received the Golden Links Award from the Corporate Meetings & Incentives magazine, as well as a 4-star rating from Golf Digest.

  • 6,556 yards
  • Par 72
  • 18 holes
  • 2 rating
  • Opened in 1964
  • Designed by George Cobb

George Cobb is highly revered in the golfing industry, having been the design consultant for Augusta National, as well as several other courses across the country that have hosted major championships.

This wildly popular golf course features a traditional links-style layout. Located at the northern most point of the island, Ocean Point overlooks the Atlantic, with amazing views at every hole.

There are five sets of tees including the Wee-Links for all of our junior golfers and anyone wishing to brush up on their skills.

This beloved Fripp Island golf course will truly put your skills to the test with well-bunkered, small greens. And since “The Point” is a seaside course, Cobb expected for wind to play a key role in the game and was very generous in his designs, allowing for golfers to run the ball for the majority of the greens.
